Balance spending taxpayer money between the ever increasing gacha addiction, and the town itself! Just make sure to keep the Heavenly Star Girls Corp. happy...
Beginning Steps
MJHSGF started off as research project for one of my classes, we formed our own teams and chose a currently relevant topic in Canadian news. Our chosen topic was wealth inequality.
Despite many groups choosing to make a serious game, we decided to go the opposite direction, where the player gets to experience a world where they are given so much expendable income that most purchases are inconsequential.
From there, we also decided it should be an idle-sim game, since gacha games and more idle-like gameplay usually go hand in hand.
